Mixes Great Things Together

The 2004 Hot Dish Tournament mixes great lacrosse,
Minnesota Hot Dish, and support for the American Cancer Society into
one great event.
Hot Dish Contest
Hot-dish judging
and eating contest to raise money for American Cancer Society set for
Sunday Oct 10th. Registration is at 11AM at the Woodland Elementary
School in Brooklyn Park
A Hot-dish judging and eating contest will be held at the Woodland Elementary
School lobby on Sunday Oct 10th. Hot-dish entries will be taken from
11am-12 noon in three categories; meat, poultry and seafood. The entry
fee is $10 and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Winners
receive the coveted hot-dish trophy “a casserole dish mounted
on a trophy base” There will also be a “Best in Show Hot-dish
winner.
The eating contest starts after the judging of the hot-dish is over
around 1pm. To enter the eating contest, bring your appetite and $1
donation. Judges will be there with timers to see who eats a serving
of hot-dish the fastest for the trophy.
The hot-dish contests are part of the 2nd annual Hot-dish Classic Charity
Lacrosse Tournament run Oct 9-10th in Brooklyn Park by the Minnesota
Chapter of US Lacrosse to benefit the American Cancer Society.

East and exit onto Noble Parkway and make a left going over Hwy 610.
Make a left onto 97th Ave. No and the Park is on the left just behind
the elementary School. Parking: parking is located behind Woodland Elementary
School. The fields are the ones closet to 610 with lights.
From the East…Take Hwy 35E to Hwy 10 (exit 113)
and go north on 10, merge onto I 694 West and get of on exit number
35C onto Hwy 252 No go 1.5 miles and merge onto Hwy 610/Brooklyn Blvd
headed west. Take the Noble Parkway exit and turn right on Noble Parkway
headed north. Make a left onto 97th Ave. No and the Park is on the left
just behind the elementary School. Parking: parking is located behind
Woodland Elementary School. The fields are the ones closet to 610 with
lights.
From the South…Take Hwy 35 W north to I-94 W/US-52
No to Hwy 252 No go 1.5 miles and merge onto Hwy 610/Brooklyn Blvd headed
west. Take the Noble Parkway exit and turn right on Noble Parkway headed
north. Make a left onto 97th Ave. No and the Park is on the left just

From the North…Take 35W or Central Ave/Hwy 65
south to US Hwy 10 and go north. Merge onto Hwy 610/Brooklyn Blvd headed
